By accessing or using ClientVault ("the Service"), operated by Lasse Rafn ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
These terms apply to all users of the Service, including portal owners (our customers) and their clients who access portals created through the Service.
ClientVault is a white-label client portal platform that allows freelancers and agencies to share files, manage tasks, and collaborate with their clients through branded portals. The Service includes file storage, task management, activity tracking, and related features as described on our website.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
If you create portals for your clients, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service in relation to those clients complies with all applicable laws, including any agreements you have with them.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload to the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.
You can export all of your data at any time. We believe your data belongs to you, and we will never hold it hostage.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.
We may change our pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
Lifetime deals: If you purchased a lifetime deal through AppSumo or a similar platform, the terms of that purchase (including refund policies) are governed by the respective platform's terms in addition to these terms.
Free plans: Free plans may have feature and storage limitations. We reserve the right to modify free plan terms with reasonable notice.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. No hoops, no "contact sales" — just a button.
Upon cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will be downgraded to the free plan. Your data will be preserved for 90 days, during which you can export everything or reactivate your subscription.
After the 90-day retention period, we may permanently delete your data. We will send email reminders before this happens.
We strive to maintain high availability and publish our uptime record on our public status page. While we aim for 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service.
We may occasionally need to perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We will provide advance notice for planned maintenance wherever possible.
Your privacy matters to us. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
In summary: we collect only what we need to operate the Service, we don't sell your data, and you can request deletion of your personal data at any time in compliance with GDPR and other applicable privacy laws.
The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding.
If you use our white-label features to remove ClientVault branding from your portals, you may not represent the Service as your own product or resell access to the platform itself.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or relating to these terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email and update the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Denmark, though we encourage reaching out to us directly first — most things can be resolved with a conversation.
