ClientVault is a bootstrapped, profitable software company. No investors, no board meetings, no pressure to chase growth at all costs. Just a product that works for the people who use it.
Founder & Builder
I'm Lasse — a solo founder based in Denmark. I've spent the better part of my career starting, building, and running software businesses. Not the "raise a round and hope for the best" kind. The kind that need to work, because they pay the bills.
Over the years I've seen the same pattern repeat: a tool I relied on would raise funding, chase hockey-stick growth, and eventually pivot, get acquired, or just disappear. It's exhausting when the software you've built your workflow around suddenly shuts down.
ClientVault exists because I got tired of that cycle. I wanted to build a client portal that would still be here in five years, ten years — not because of the next funding round, but because it's a profitable business that earns its keep.
When there are no investors to answer to, the only people who matter are the ones using the product.
No venture capital. No runway to burn through. ClientVault is funded entirely by the people who use it. That's the way it should be.
No pressure to 10x growth every quarter. I can focus on building the right features, not the ones that look good on a pitch deck.
No investor exit strategy to optimize for. Every decision is made with one question: does this make the product better for the people who use it?
A 99.99% uptime SLA isn't marketing — it's a contract. If we slip, you get service credits. Your clients depend on your portal being there, and you should be able to depend on us.
One-click export, anytime. No lock-in, no export fees, no "contact sales to get your data." If you ever want to leave, you take everything with you.
Transparent pricing, a public status page, and real human support. No chatbots, no runaround. When something goes wrong, we'll tell you plainly and fix it quickly.
ClientVault is a client portal. Not a project management tool, not a CRM, not an everything-app. We'd rather be excellent at one thing than mediocre at ten.
There's a Danish word — grundighed — that roughly translates to "thoroughness" or "doing things properly." It's the idea that if something is worth building, it's worth building right. That's the philosophy behind every line of code in ClientVault.
